A crisp Autumn Sunday calls for wandering in the woods and stomping on crunchy rust coloured leaves. Epping Forest was perfect for this. Epping Forest is a quick train ride from Central London and makes it feel like you're escaping the city for a little while. Comfy shoes and a warm jacket were essential, and my Jack Wills saw me through the day just fine.
Don't mind me here, just caught me in my natural habitat... randomly creeping around mini hut shelter thingys in the woods?? I have no idea what this is or why it's here, but I climbed in anyway because, why not? Ticks is probably why not, but I didn't think that through at all.

We stopped by Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge on our way around the woods. This is apparently where Queen Elizabeth I rode a white horse up the three flights of stairs. She sounds like my kind of person.
More importantly they let you try on period clothing...
